| Job Description |
Our client, a leading provider of consulting services to federal agencies, state and local governments, and prime contractors, is looking for an Enterprise Architecture Analyst to join their team. This position will assist the Enterprise Architect in developing and managing EA-related components and artifacts in support of an ongoing enterprise architecture program for a major federal agency. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills and experience in developing federal enterprise architectures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update target architecture artifacts
- Conduct department wide discovery on Financial Management related applications
- Assist in satisfying OMB EA reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities and develop recommendations to maximize reporting and decision making potential in the government client’s EA repository
- Assisting the PMO with the deployment of the solution
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years work experience performing professional services consulting
- 1+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience, preferably with knowledge surrounding FEA Consolidated Reference Model used across the federal government
- Ability to discover and document recommendations for improving the EA and operational infrastructure, and report recommendations to project and client management
- Strong client interpersonal/interviewing skills
- Ability to enter and manage EA artifacts and information within Troux/Metis or other EA metadata repository
- 1+ years of project management experience with respect to project schedule tracking and monitoring, and issue/risk tracking and reporting is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience identifying, documenting and managing the following EA-related components:
- Performance measure management
- Business process model documentation and re-engineering (preferably using BPMN)
- Application/service discovery and management
- Ability to receive tasks and work independently to complete them accurately and on time.
- Strong knowledge of MS office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio)
- BA or BS degree; relevant experience may be considered in place of education requirements
- US citizenship
